Her politics are/were awful but she was friendly in person. She shopped in a grocery store I worked at in Baltimore when she was a senator and never gave us any DYKWIA attitude.

babs mikulski was a sorry excuse for a senator. when my brother-in-law died and my sister called her office for help, they wouldn’t do anything. when i called her about some utility rate hike, she said that i couldn’t expect her to question that just for me. when i suggested that other of her constituents would also be affected, and that i had noticed that she accepted a $2500 donation from said utility, never heard another word from her. useless!
