How many times are you going to repeat your lie?

If I made it up, I must be the greatest marketer in the country. Google - Macs don't get viruses - and see how many pages have been devoted to refuting that proposition.

In modesty, I must say that I didn't make it up the proposition, the Apple Fanbois did.

There you go with the insulting ad hominem "Fanbois" meme.

You didn’t even bother to finish reading what I wrote in my reply, did you? You just pulled your triggered response, or what part of ‘There are ZERO true self-replicating, self-transmitting, and self-installing computer viruses or worms for the Mac OSX or later for twenty-two years’ did you fail to comprehend?

There have been a few potential Mac OSX virus/worm candidates over the years, under ten, but all have failed for the same reason, lack of viable vector modalities.

If Mac OSX or later computer viruses simply do not exist in the wild, then it’s pretty safe to say that Mac computers using those operating systems for the last twenty-two years don’t get viruses.

That being said, nothing prevents any operating system user from installing malicious programs if they are so stupid as to ignore system alerts telling them NOT TO DO WHAT THEY ARE DOING, or to DELIBERATELY TURN OFF THE BUILT-IN PROTECTION SYSTEM. Those malicious programs are not computer viruses.

That’s a very good suggestion, about the keyboard cover. Never had keyboard problems on other machines but the thinness of the laptop, lighter than my iPad1, is part of the problem.

Your job sounds frustrating as hell! Lucrative though. Do you recommend installing anti-malware apps on Macbooks? I have used them and anti-virus on all PC’s I have owned but not on any Apple products (yet).
