I guess 43 years of Mike Madigan's corruption and bankrupting the state is finally enough for the Fed's to step in and do what Illinois Voters are too f'n stupid to do.

Ping! I don't know all the Illinois folks as well as I think you do, would you mind helping me out and ping the usual suspects?
I woke up to the news this morning, Chicago Sun Times posted the above article about 2 hours ago.
Didn't see this posted elsewhere, I searched for "Mike Madigan" and saw nothing.
This is a great day for Illinois. I hope the Fed's nail Madigan's ass to the wall.

Back in the day he probably tried to shake down the Trumps, that being a guess, and perhaps Trump has a smidgen of pull in the DOJ or FBI.

The investigation was going on in 2014, under the Obama administration.
Interesting dynamics there.

I cant help but think that Madigan will be held to account right after Obama and Hillary are held to account. (And Lerner, Brennan, Clapper, et al)

Madigan,Burke, and hundreds of Illinois democrats all owe their longevity back to 1980. When under the guise of reform the Illinois state constitutional convention removed the minority party state representative district seat from each district in the state assembly.
