Madigan,Burke, and hundreds of Illinois democrats all owe their longevity back to 1980. When under the guise of reform the Illinois state constitutional convention removed the minority party state representative district seat from each district in the state assembly.
Madigan is untouchable, nothing will come of this.
The Cutback Amendment.
All the money to be saved by dumping the cumulative voting system.
And the usual SOBs gave themselves a raise that ate any and all savings...
With cumulative voting, we had an entertaining day at the polls and a nonstop clown show from Springfield.
Now, no more bullet ballot and fewer clowns that cost more.
