To: Red Badger

Wild bears may or may not be friendly to people, depending on the bear’s disposition. Once I was in a remote area near a ranch, and a bear cub emerged from the trees followed closely by the mother bear. To my horror, the baby bear ran straight to me. Unfortunately, I was unarmed. Skipping to the end of the story, I survived without a scratch, simply because the mama bear spared me, and apparently wasn’t hungry.

Bears are very intelligent. They thus have more developed personalities. One may beg you for food. Another may treat yoh like food.
