If the video at the link above doesn’t have you alternating between FURIOUS & REASSURED, watch in again until FURIOUS wins.
WHY? Because the centuries old struggle between freedom and slavery, liberty and domination...GOOD vs EVIL has VISIBLY surfaced right here in America in our lifetimes. And that BATTLE will require that EVERY citizen who cares about those things burn with a FURY deep and strong enough to see the battle through to victory.
Let that fury move you to join the battle by, at the very least, spreading this information to as many others as you can.  Yes, it’s frustrating as you will meet far too many who are either clearly on the other side, can’t be bothered or simply don’t care.  I’ve met hundreds in my 40+ years of doing what little I can to preserve for MY progeny the freedoms I knew in my early life.
Let me close with the wise words of Judge Learned Hand:
“Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; if it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it.”  Judge Learned Hand, 1944
(While not a household name, Judge Hand is the jurist most often cited by OTHER judges. You don’t know that because very powerful people don’t WANT YOU TO!)
(If you’re short on time, put the audio on in the background while doing other stuff.  But know that if you do that, you’ll miss some very interesting & informative graphics in his presentation.)
Mr. Jefferson wrote a few words on the topic as well:
“We have the greatest opportunity the world has ever seen, as long
as we remain honest — which will be as long as we can keep the
attention of our people alive. If they once become inattentive to
public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and
governors would all become wolves.”
Thomas Jefferson to Edward Carrington, 1787. ME 6:58
(We have met the enemy and he is US! Now you know HOW WE GOT HERE!)

We have the greatest opportunity the world has ever seen, as long as we remain honest — which will be as long as we can keep the attention of our people alive. …
JFTR, that block of text is not in the 1787 letter to Colonel Carrington. This is how it really reads:
I am convinced that those societies (as the Indians) which live without government enjoy in their general mass an infinitely greater degree of happiness than those who live under European governments. Among the former, public opinion is in the place of law, and restrains morals as powerfully as laws ever did anywhere. Among the latter, under pretense of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep. I do not exaggerate. This is a true picture of Europe. Cherish therefore the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. Do not be too severe upon their errors, but reclaim them by enlightening them. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress, and Assemblies, judges and governors shall all become wolves.
I cannot find the actual source of the unrelated text from above.

Thank you. Food for thought, although does not make him an anti-globalist.

I disagree strongly. Motive is very important, especially when one has gobs of money and power to carry motives further. Like don’t play with devil?

Right.

President Trump has broken the unspoken or unnoticed truce between gobalists who want lower taxes and less regulation and small-government nationalists.

Unfortunately, social conservatives are being coopted by the broader culture. SoCons are still there, just fewer in number and less influential.

Thank you. I gleaned that quote from an ordinarily accurate source. It appears that my source did some para-phasing.
The truth is that your “find” makes Mr. Jefferson’s feeling on the subject EVEN more strident and intense!
I shall begin using YOUR cite though, given the shortened attention span of today’s population, it may be necessary to - as accurately as possible - apply some out of quotation para-phrasing there as well. I suspect that problem is what prompted MY source to do so.
On that attention span thing, I recently heard a presentation by a man who’s spent 20 years in the visual media business. I was shocked to learn that his experience with the Generation Xers and Millennials is as follows:
* Most of them DO NOT READ BOOKS but get their information from their electronic devices (smart phones, tablets, computers).
* If something they “click” on doesn’t grab their attention in the first 8 seconds, THEY’RE GONE!
* Even if they’re “hooked” in those first 8 seconds, most of them will TUNE OUT if it runs much over 2 minutes.
THAT EXPLAINS A LOT DOESN’T IT?
Years ago there was a TV program called “The Short Attention Span Theater”. Looks like we’re there!

Just in the sense of that quote and Europe, I noticed that the EU has returned the wolf-sheep paradigm of rule to the continent. The more things change, etc.
