Thousands of protesters are marching through the Belgian capital of Brussels to demand that the government increases its efforts to fight climate change.
In the fourth demonstration in two months attracting at least 10,000 protesters, banners were held high Sunday to demand better use of renewable energies and more action to improve air quality.

AP.
Figures.
Of course, they’re working for the AP because science classes, any science classes, were beyond their capability.
No doubt wearing their finest synthetic protective cold weather gear too. Fidiots!
Heard Chicago temperatures were dipping down into the negative numbers. That’ll affect their weekend shooting deaths for sure. Globull warming’s fault.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting cleaner air and (affordable) renewable energy sources. But believing that it will make a bit of difference in the global climate is just plain stupid.
Carbon dioxide is not part of “dirtier air” by definition, and it does not “warm the climate”.
Well, they can’t be seen wearing fur.
They should protest and Demand the Government Doooo Sooomething -anything - to fight the catastrophic decline in Sun Spots in the Sun. Also, the Moon is falling. Government needs to do something about that too.

And there it is. Air quality. This entire global fight is really about pollution. Problem is most air and water pollution doesn’t emanate in the US. We cleaned up our chemical waste site. The Love Canals of the US are much cleaner than 30 years ago.
By labeling it global warming, the alarmists puts the US directly in the line of fire.
Agreed...I am all for developing solar and wind power, but have a real problem with destroying current sources of energy in order to encourage acceptance of those.
Especially with malevolent government intrusion which lines the pockets of their supporters.
Precisely. Without all the government intrusion, photovoltaic power would be far more than a marginal industry by now.
Leftists like to paint conservatives as anti-environment, anti-solar, and anti-wind, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Conservatives simply view the “fingers-in-the-pie” approaches of the Left (and correctly so) as being damaging and counterproductive.
Just tell them to address climate and have the money we require all low and middle class workers to abandon their homes, sell them and give us the money, we will provide a sheet of plastic and a sleeping bag for all.. the food truck will come once a week but global warming might stop..
It seems that Australia is like Brussels, better educated than Americans and further along in the shift away from fossil fuels than America
Photovoltaic Power is a joke. The only way that solar cells are in the USA is because of huge government subsidies for the solar cell industry.
Or maybe the industry is depressed by the subsidies and associated regulations.
If one is to say “a joke”, that is a way to evade specifics. I was in no way suggesting it can supplant other forms of power generation, or that it could take one totally off the grid by itself.
Thanks for the leftist concern trolling.
Australia is on its way to surrendering its sovereignty to its big communist neighbor to its north. Brussels is a basket case, subjugated by Teutonic social marketeering.
In other parts of the world the fossil fuel industry is not as powerful as in the US. The GOP gets huge sums from fossil fuel
...as well as giving half a BILLION dollar loans to a solar panel company which soon went bankrupt. How many other Solyndras were there during Obama's administration? Who got that money which will never be repaid?
What happened to the almost TRILLION dollar "stimulus" that kept getting rolled over each of the seven years that there was an Omnibus Bill instead of agency by agency budget passed by Congress?
Mmmmm, maybe we should check in on some of the people/companies flying one of the 1,700 private jets to Davos.
Do tell us another leftist conspiracy theory.
