Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz says that almost all of Robert Mueller’s indictments have been committed as a result of his investigation, not from colluding with Russia.

We’re told that it’s longstanding DOJ policy that a sitting POTUS cannot be indicted. Assuming that is true, no such scenario plays out. I believe it to be true, because DOJ is not an independent agency it serves under the Executive. They cannot arrest their boss against his wishes. Worst case, he fires everyone. That kind of scenario of course would be politically damaging and lead to impeachment proceedings imo. But afaik, he cannot be nor won’t be arrested. Most likely, if there are really ‘goods’ against him and he knows he is cornered, then he would resign for the good of the Republic.

FWIW, I think this whole thing is a witch hunt. As Dershowitz noted, nearly all the convictions are process crimes. They are trying to create a case, not investigate one. They are a distraction and cover-up from the real crimes of the Obama admin and the Clinton campaign.

Trump will likely tell them to stand down ... sadly. Let’s see what Stone has to tell Tucker tonight. Then I will probably cancel my cable and tell my kids to make the best of what remains of the next few decades

“President Trump needs to fire Meuller yesterday...”

And the less than useless Faye Wray.

Indeed, why would anyone ever speak to the FBI again?

I'm in. CNN HQ is in my neighborhood.

And I don't mean violence (although they'd probably want to read it that way)... being an absolute annoyance is far more entertaining... deer musk, appallingly loud car alarms, etc are just as effective at sending a message of displeasure.

You aren’t...there are a lot of lists.

Mueller can’t even secure an indictment without the approval of his boss at the DOJ.

Pray but be ready. Be Damned ready. This may involve a government prepared to kill civilians with high tech weapons that will neutralize or overwhelm conventional firearms.
There is evidence that these weapons were tested in the “Paradise” fires in Kalifornia. Pray that your Military and local law enforcement will not obey unlawful orders to kill the people rather than protect us! We are truly in DANGER!

If it serves the Potus why was mueller even tasked with this nonsense and why doesn’t trump just install some lackey like they usually are? And why all the drama around arresting Stone

The secret service has the right to gun down the FBI if they attempt to seize the president. No Federal Officer, no local officer, no Sheriff has the right to arrest the president before he is impeached.
The FBI would get a rough lesson if they attempted to effect an arrest of a sitting president. Secret Service, and Marines would stop them hard

“President Trump needs to fire Meuller yesterday after he pulled off his staged Gestapo stunt with cameras rolling and a rent-a-mob ready to shout down Roger Stone. Furthermore he needs to order the Acting Attorney General to designate a prosecutor to investigate FBI and DOJ crimes and convene a grand jury,”

What country was this? Venezuela, Nigeria, Cuba, Nazi Germany the Soviet Union...?

It sure as hell was not America..was it???

With a doomsday attitude like yours I just wonder where you were during the eight dark years of Obama? Here we have an economy on fire, record low unemployment, renewed investment in America, fewer foreign entanglements, reduced federal regulations, a big tax cut, potential denuclearization of North Korea....and NOW you’re ready to throw in the towel?

I don’t know what the hell is wrong with you people!

Mueller’s authority derives from the President so even he will unlikely attempt to pull that off. Trump could fire everyone trying to arrest him, on the spot.

Politics mostly. If they get something on POTUS, they will use it for impeachment. Meanwhile they are trying to undermine him and derail his policies, keep pressure on for the elections, punish his supporters, serve warning against outsiders from ever trying to take high office, protect the FBI turf, protect and insulate Obama’s staff and team Clinton’s crimes, and cover-up the crimes of the FBI and DOJ among others.

It’s also in an odd way a MSM payoff. Keeping the ratings up, ad revenues up though I am not saying that’s a reason, but its sort of a perpetual motion machine - the media feedback loop also feeds Mueller which feeds the MSM.

Another question is why did they wait 6-9 months to indict Stone? Stone himself said he expected to be indicted many months ago.
