Super Blood Wolf Moon is actually my Indian name.

Or my Korean name.

I forget which.

Don’t be fooled by the hype and colorful names. It will just be slightly larger than your typical lunar eclipse. If you’re looking at it with binoculars or a telescope, it won’t mean anything.

Just looked out at the moon. It looks like a light bulb is hanging in space, it’s so bright.

I looked out the window and found the moon. At 9:45 p.m. in NYC, it didn’t look any different than usual. Maybe I’ll check it later.

I just went outside to take a look but the yard is full of werewolves.
They’ve taken every decent spot to put a lawn chair!

Thankfully, I don’t have to leave the house. Its 2 degrees out there! The moon is right out of the window of the den, so I’m cuddled up on the couch watching ;-)

We’ve got 40-50 MPH winds and temperatures with the wind of about 10-15 degrees F in the DC area.

I’m going to watch the eclipse but my wife has a blowtorch ready to thaw me out (I hope).

Just so you know, silver bullets won't work on someone wearing a 3 wolf moon shirt.

Shockingly, it’s visible here.

We have only very light high cloud cover. It’s enough to make a beautiful night sky and clear enough to see the moon with no problem.

Just looked at it through my daughter’s telescope. Way cool.

She looked at it and then said it was too cold and came inside.
