Main Card and early prelims (the latter in progress) are on ESPN+, a stupid streaming service you got to pay extra for. Boo. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum for me.
The regular prelims will air on ESPN, top of the hour.
Bantamweight Champ TJ Dillashaw moves down to 125 to take on Flyweight title holder Henry Cejudo in the main event.
UFC Ping, let me know if you want on/off the list
So begins the UFCs stupid deal with ESPN and it’s stupid ESPN+ streaming service, I really hate that a lot of fights are gonna be on that, you couldn’t pay me to pay for that service. I hope reddit will have a stream of the main event.
The UFC is supposedly gonna shutter the Men’s Flyweight division, lots of flyweights cut and if you didn’t hear, former Champ Mighty Mouse has been “traded” to One FC for Welterweight Ben Asken. Curious then why Dillashaw is moving DOWN for this fight instead of Cejeudo moving up, I don’t get it. Both have trouble making 125.
I’ll take Dillashaw, Cerrone, Benzaivdez, Glover, Paige Van Zandt
Not going to pay a dime for ESPN+. I already pay them plenty through my cable bill. I hope ESPN+ fails miserably.
Everyone wants their own streaming service and wants you to pay extra for it. Despicable. I heard UFC might do a deal with Amazon prime but no, it ended up being ESPN.
CBS is the worst. Other networks let you watch their network shows for free if you are a cable/sat subscriber. Not CBS, they make you pay for CBS all access and to add insult to injury there’s still commercials on it! Unless you pay even more! Not interested.
BORING. Too much laying on top of each other.
Puts me right to sleep.
My Toby Keith version.... a little less grappling and a lot more action.
Then maybe I’ll tune in.

Does not compute ...
And I didn’t even realize but people that don’t have smart tvs CAN’T watch ESPN+ except on a computer/device. Making the UFC less accessible, great marketing plan.
You can cast an iPad to your tv
In late. Ill go with TJ (but Im rooting for Cujedo - the kid has grown on me), Cowboy, whoevers fighting Van Zandt, Hardy, Medieros, Ortiz.
I can, yes. But I think there are plenty are people with TVs that don’t have this feature no? I can see grandpas asking their grandsons if they have mini-hdmi cables they can borrow. Sad. ;d
Cerrone laughs at the gamblers who had him the underdog against some prospect who’s best win was against Beneil Dariush!
Paige is married, my dreams are crushed, crushed! ;d
Manlet fight.
The reddit stream was from TSN 5 (Canada) apparently the Hosers got to watch it on regular tv.
Anyway, huge win for Cejudo. Good news for the Flyweight division. I think it was a justified stoppage, TJ looked rocked.
Another Manlet is fighting tonight, Manny Paquaio.
ESPN already has the highest carriage fees in the industry. Cable/Satellite providers have to pay money to ESPN for every subscriber. Basically, if you have cable/satellite, and you have a package that includes ESPN and ESPN2, you are already paying about $9/month to ESPN. But you don't get ESPN+ where they will be streaming much of their UFC content, including tonight's event. You have to buy an ESPN+ subscription at $5/month extra to stream it.
So yes, I hope the paid ESPN+ streaming service fails.
I signed up for the free 7 day trial on ESPN+ just to watch last night then cancelled it as soon as the fight was over.
