Some thoughts:
1: I thought by now Toto's song would be erased from history. Can't have a bunch of white dudes singing about the Black Continent.
How about blasting the soundtrack from David Lynch's "Dune". Toto wrote the soundtrack.

>> Toto’s “Africa” ... play the song on loop in a Namibian desert — for eternity
I’m fairly certain this qualifies as a ‘crime against humanity’ under the Geneva Conventions.. or at least it should.

No, it’s a Namibian Beetle that will sit at the crest of a dune and use its body to catch seabreezes and condensate the water to drink. God is smart..............

Solar panels have a ~20 year lifespan.

Somebody contact Al Gore! This song is bound to contribute to Global Warming. I even prepared a graph. As you can see, the longer the song is played, the worse its effects will be.

“...the installation is supposed to look more at the lighter side of things and everyone should be able to enjoy it.”
He said he won’t reveal exact the location of the work.
How can everyone enjoy it if they don’t know where it is?

Will it play for eternity, or just feel that way once you get to the 3rd or 4th playing. Really, not a good song.

I thought it had already played for eternity.
On my radio, in 1982.

The song became some sort of hipster meme last year. Just like “Never Gonna Give You Up” was.
And now like they usually do, they will drive a fairly decent song into the ground.
And I always thought these guys were singing about Kenya?

“I thought by now Toto’s song would be erased from history.”
Nope, for some reason that particular song has become a frat boy anthem so it is sticking around.
