* From decades ago, at one point The Literary Digest the week before election day, reported that Alf Landon was far more popular than FDR.
At the same time, George Gallup conducted a far smaller (but more scientifically based) survey. Gallup correctly predicted Roosevelt's landslide victory. The Literary Digest soon went out of business.
Maybe these days someone at Gallup could kindly tell you that "Freepers" actually read MORE than the first three words of a title".
