True. Two guys in Chicagoland wanted to see what it felt like to murder some people. They killed three or four people in a fried chicken fast food place. Never did anything else even remotely out of line. When captured (I have forgotten what tripped them up) they were living perfectly normal lives, one in Indianapolis and one still in Chicagoland.

That was the Brown’s Chicken massacre. DNA evidence saved from the scene played an important role, years later, in convicting the 2 animals who did this.
