Some protesters feel speed cameras are solely a revenue-generating measure which takes money from the poor. This sorta changes my mind . . a little. I say we give them a temporary visa to stage a protest against our speed cameras and then let them go back.

Now this is a smart move: cost the government money. That is the ONLY way to catch their attention, and to mold their behavior.
If they still don’t change, go after parking meters. Then assorted road signs that must be replaced. Then unattended government cars. Sooner or later, they’ll get the message.

I wonder how many of these cameras are actually used in the identification of individuals in terror attacks? If so, I have mixed opinions about their destruction.
