There will be no need for Sean Penn to apologize for playing a mentally challenged man in ‘I am Sam’, and there will also be no need for him to apologize for playing a ‘stoner’ in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”... Because he is a mentally challenged stoner.
His next part playing an abusive husband will also be guilt free.
