This is the first time a kid battered her parents for sayjng no to such a reasonable request.

But at 28, she could’ve driven herself to the restaurant. Its not like she needed their permission to go there.

That’s what makes the whole thing bizarre.

First she would NOT be a pleasant dinner companion - and second she most likely expected her parents to pay for her meal.

If her parents are smart they’ll move away with no forwarding address.
