You’ll forgive me if I’m not sure what that means.

Another article on the same subject:

https://www.institutionalinvestor.com/article/b1c33fqdnhf21s/Eddie-Lampert-Shattered-Sears-Sullied-His-Reputation-and-Lost-Billions-of-Dollars-Or-Did-He

Explains in detail all the shenanigans.

Basically once he took over he stopped spending any money in the company’s interests.

Wonder why the stores were all run down? No expenditures on them since ‘07. No concerted effort to capitalize on their distribution network to sell online. He rode it down on purpose for personal gain.

Sears' biggest asset is in real estate. They own more property than almost any other company operating in the United States.

What Eddie Lampert "loses" in stock value as a result of his shenanigans he more than gains in real estate holdings.

I wonder how much Sears retiree's who have been living off their pensions are going to get screwed as a result of all of this. Have to wonder how people like this suckball sleep at night.

My wife loved the household furnishing department at our nearest Sears. Great people, great choices and Sears’ guarantee.

About every 10 years she redoes the inside of our home, and Sears was her go to store for most of the redo.

She stopped dealing with them about 10 years ago. She used former Sears employees to remove, set up and install drapes, and to paint. A local carpet store, the owner was a former Sears employee did a great job of removing old carpet, installing new padding and the new carpet.

Craftsman tools has apparently been sold to a lot of different vendors. The quality is not like what I inherited from my Dad.
