More gun confiscations... This time in Vermont, based on Vermont's new "Red Flag" law, which allows authorities to seize someone's guns if something about the person, his guns, his beliefs, or perhaps his dog's affiliations (who knows with these jackals?) raises a red flag in the eyes of law enforcement.

“They should take every gun in the neighborhood.”
They would if they could.
And they WILL try, soon enough. Count on it.

Put the kid in prison; don’t take the uncle’s guns.

So if the moron said he could steal some weapons from a gun shop, the courts would close the store? Really slippery slope they made here.

My relatives have been in Vermont since before it became a state in 1791. I figure if they could survive in those times, the least I could do is continue to be a thorn in the side of these liberal lunatic transplants.

Our next door neighbor here in rural Florida is the local dairy--600 cows a 1/2 mile away.
The owner's family is from Vermont but he says he'll never go back. Too many pedophiles and sexual weirdos to raise a family there he says.
I was born in California and lived there when I was very young for a few years, but would never go back now. Hotbed of progressives, illegals and very high taxes.
My brother lives there and has been planning to leave for years. Waiting until his wife retires from the bank she works at. Only one year left. Then they will probably go to Arizona where our family lived for decades. Can't stand all of the liberalism around them in California.

Not to mention it's colder that sh*t in the winter.
I got frostbite delivering newspapers living in Cheyenne, WY when I was in 7th grade. Swore to never do it again.
Then my wife and I suffered through a bitterly cold winter stationed near Kansas City, MO when we were in the Air Force. That was it for us.
It's been Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Florida ever since. All south.
It's sunshine, shirt sleeves and 72 degrees today, Christmas day, on our farm in rural Florida.

"
How about Indiana? I tried to buy a handgun 10 days ago, denied. I have no idea why. Seat belt violation 6 months ago? Is that possible? First gun I tried to buy from an FFL in 20 years."
It could be the result of a clerical error and/or someone else's identity being confused with yours. There's a way to find out what the reason was for the denial, but I forgot how. Surprised that the dealer didn't know. You might try using search engines to find the answer (maybe a forum) or looking around the BATFE site.
You could also try posting a vanity post to ask how to find out why it was denied. Put the word, banglist, in the keywords for the post. That will bring your post to the attention of those who watch the banglist. To see the banglist for yourself, just follow the "banglist" link in the list of keywords at the top of the Latest Articles page.

They would if they could. And they WILL try, soon enough. Count on it. Yes, but I doubt even that will fire up enough people to an extent that there will be hostilities. If there hasnt been by now, there probable wont be. Kind of like the frog and boiling water analogy. IMO
