North Carolina was one of a few states where the GOP had a decent showing in the 2018 midterms, and I'm convinced that a big part of it is a mass migration of Republicans from New York and New Jersey over the last ten years.
Early this month we had another big announcement of one more major U.S. company (Honeywell) moving their headquarters out of New Jersey. They're going to North Carolina. They even left something like $40 million of tax credits on the table here. New Jersey can't even BRIBE companies to stay here anymore.
Really. I used to work for them, back when they had a different name.
I think The Trump organization needs to move out of New York. The insist on going after him, he needs to take his revenue with him.
