Is Trump planning to bring the troops home from Syria for Xmas ? According to Stars and Stripes (the newspaper),
“Military leaders were scrambling Thursday to devise a swift but safe departure of troops from Syria.”

This may give some credence to rumors that George Webb reported this evening on his twitter account:

“Talking with Andrews AFB folks whispers of Christmas “arrivals.” Trump may meet some US troops at Andrews on Christmas Eve? I will keep following the story.”
*
“Hearing wacky rumors that Trump will fire Mattis if he doesn’t greet the Syria troops with him on the tarmac on Christmas Eve. Trump is serious as six heart attacks and a minor stroke on this Andrews AFB Homecoming. Will Melania go? On Christmas Eve? Not be with Barron on Xmas?”

*
“I am working all the supporting data on Trump Christmas Homecoming at Andrew AFB for Syria troops. Watch to see if Marine band starts practicing. Dyncorp manages Air Force One at Andrews. Is Feinberg setting Trump up for a PR opportunity?”

That would be awesome! I’ve been fighting the Mattis battle on FB all night trying to red pill people. The days of being mired overseas and rebuilding countries is OVER. Accomplish the mission and leave is now SOP.

Assad stays in power. When Russia pulls the purse strings Iran will fall. Assad forced to make new allies. The devil you know that took care of his Christian minority is better than the devil you don’t know.

As someone else said somewhere Trump now needs someone who gets the program and has a different set of skills. This is not new.
