I agree. In the broadest terms, I believe the generals protect the process and the country through this historic event, that Sessions overseas the indictments and Rogers helps both the military (intel on threats to tribunals, civil unrest, false flags, foreign intentions (i.e., the UN will want to “help”) and supports the intel behind the indictments.

But I’m way out of my expertise here, so my speculation is strictly civilian. No one has ever tried trials on the scale, so I can see these key players and needed to support the process and the country through it.
