Country superstar Garth Brooks says Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton is why he's adding a second concert when he visits Minneapolis.
Brooks and Dayton made the concert announcement after the governor asked the country superstar to schedule another performance when tickets for his May 4 concert in Minneapolis sold out in less than an hour.
The governor's office says at least 50,000 people were in line, on the phone or online Friday when the last ticket was sold for the concert at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Remember, that after his pitiful term in the US Senate, he was voted as the "Worst" Senator by his peers.
Isn’t Garth Brooks the guy who ruined country music?
Don’t know anything about him.
This is about Dayton ruining MN for 8 years and he thinks that this will make us all happy.
I’ll be sure to miss both of them.
Brooks...”We’re doing 2 shows in Minnesota!”
Dayton...”I am Batman!!!”
A big Obama lover!
“Country superstar Garth Brooks says Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton is why he’s adding a second concert when he visits Minneapolis.”
Brooks is not country. Not close. He’s a liberal.
And a big heir to the Dayton’s fortune.
Never had a real job and hides millions in outstate tax free funds.
Barf Grooks does it again.
Next year, hear him yodel “Workers of the World Unite”.
I turn the station if one of his recordings come on. No way will I listen to that jerk!
Garth Brooks loves himself so much he hasnt got much love left over for Obama.
We need less of this stuff. Much less.
Undoubtedly. My reason for posting the above was to remedy the notion that you can’t be a country artist if you’re liberal.
Yep, he is single-handedly responsible for the wussification of Country Music.
All Butt and $4,000 hats. Hank Williams Sr would laugh this clown off the stage.
“Yep, he is single-handedly responsible for the wussification of Country Music”
He just put his music out there and people bought it. I don’t like his music partly because his voice is not particularly musical. He’s gotten a lot of mileage out of running around on the stage. Some might call that putting on an energetic show.
So you’re being sarcastic? I would think this a pretty popular move for a pol.
How did he get re-elected?
“My reason for posting the above was to remedy the notion that you cant be a country artist if youre liberal.”
It makes sense there would be a market for fake country stars among the growing number of fake country music fans.
