I would love to be able to have a Beetle. So easy to maintain, so simple in design, good gas mileage, and no emissions requirements since its considered a classic. My folks had one I got to drive when I was a teenager back in the 70’s. It could go anywhere a 4WD could go on its two wheel rear drive. There used to be a commercial where they demonstrated a Beetle vs a 4WD driving on ice and the Beetle was better at it.
