Hi, flier.
I remember how good it was in earlier times to see quote indicators for whomever it was we were replying to, as well.
My own problem with continuing that habit is greater cell phone use. I can’t do that on a cell phone, the keyboard is too small to go through all that, and on my lap top, I can’t even convert type into italics, so I remain in the dark ages with use of quotation marks. But, yes, I attribute the laxity on cell phone use. A lot of us are not, I find, all that electronically capable.
Darn good to see you, Windflier.
Hey, at least you go to the trouble of using quotation marks. Many don't even do that.
I don't often freep on my cell phone, but when I do, I still take the time to italicize others' comments with HTML. It's a pain, but I'm just a stickler for doing things a certain way.
Mostly, I freep on my tablet these days, which is much more laborious than freeping on my desktop computer. Typing with one finger is so slow, and I make a lot more errors. I've found that my comments have become more brief, as well.
Good to see you, Rita.
