The “deal” is an obvious and overt violation of the embargo, since MLB clubs would be paying money to the Cuban Baseball Federation, which is an arm of the communist government. MLB treating Cuba as if it were Japan or South Korea is an insult to anyone who opposes communism or respects the rule of law. It’s like renting slave labor from a 19th-century plantation or prison. Trump should smack down MLB.
