Daniel Inouye and Frank Lautenberg also had DC funerals when they died while in office.
It’s unusual for a sitting senator to NOT have a state funeral upon death while in office. Plenty of dog and pony show precedents.
I have had differences with the Bush clan...but...they are a true, loyal, devoted American Family and a class act...unlike the low life dirt, Clintons and Obamas!!!
