I haven’t seen it since Tony left... I can’t imagine the show with him gone, seems like more of a spinoff of itself by then. Tony was Gibbs’ Barney Fife. Tony was the comedian on the show, Gibbs the big star. Tony made the Gibbs character funny by playing the foil, the one to take the pratfall, the one everybody got a good laugh at.
It’s taken on a different tack without some of the old ones - Gibbs holds it all together, and I do miss Tony. And who doesn’t miss Ziva - the lovely, mysterious Ziva!
Still a good show, but it’s a somewhat different show.
