Exactly. It's the difference between those who take responsibility for their actions and those who don't. That includes caring about your impact on other people.
This was all known, but never reported on, by the US networks during the time Bush was President, and probably when he was VP.
They just kept quiet about it, or else it would have gotten in their way of taking down Bush.
“The stories she heard about the Clintons fights were epic.”
An old friend of mine started working at the White House during the Clinton years. He was a pretty liberal guy when he started working there. A solid as reinforced concrete conservative now.
He said exposure to liberal politicians on a daily basis is what changed his politics.
While not one to spill the beans as to particular incidents he does occasionally give some interesting insights.
Bill Clinton...
NO female was safe from the attention of the Bent One. None, nada.
The more they shrugged off his advancements the more he wanted them.
Billyboy thought with his little head 99% of the time.
Hillary...
DO NOT LET THE WITCH SEE YOU!
NEVER, EVER LOOK THE WITCH IN THE EYE.
Staffers, clerks, SS and ESPECIALLY militarily personnel were instructed to duck into the nearest doorway when Her Heinousness approached.
A nasty witch who actually hated her husband, was indifferent to Chelsea at the best of times and was all about herself.
Chelsea...
Read above, worst of both “parents” without Bill’s charming facade.
Clintons in general...
Calling them trailer park trash was an insult to trailer park trash.
Bush 43...
Nice enough guy. Somehow was intelligent but without the street smarts of a 14 y/o.
Likes a good joke and enjoys being a regular Joe.
Laura...
Every librarian everywhere.
Sweet gal that married down when she married W. Bit of a liberal.
In general...
W and Laura were nice enough people you wouldn’t mind being neighbors with. They loved their kids and bragged about them.
Barack Obama...
Laziest being that ever shat between a pair of shoes. Noon was breakfast time and 5:00 was quitting time.
BO was not the brightest bulb on the string. Whoever was running the country it WASN’T BO.
BO seemed to float throughout his entire tenure like a mopeing child until a camera showed up, then the smile and strut came out. Camera left he went into hibernation. Just like turning the light on and off.
Michelle..
As nasty a witch as Hillary with even less charm. Not in her inner circle? You don’t exist. Deserves every nasty comment and name thrown at her. To call her perpetually offended is the optimistic view.
In general...
Calling them ghetto trash is an insult to ghetto trash. The average tourist on a WH tour had more intelligence than both of the Obama’s combined. Again, the kids were little more than props.
No info on the Trump WH as I haven’t seen him since the inauguration. Since his mom passed away he only comes back home every couple of years.
Been interesting to see this guy tilt further Right the more he has been around liberal politicians in D.C.
I voted for Palin
Those are all predictable observations if you start at the root of looking which party the subjects of the observations belong to.
Conservatives (or I should more accurately say Republicans or non-Leftists) in general do have consideration for others, it is one of the core values, much like, and related to respect for law.
I read Gary Aldrich’s excellent book “Unlimited Access”, and he described the attitude of the Clintons quite accurately, IMO (people having to get out of sight as Hillary approached)
It always rang true for me...
I too voted for Palin and hoped the maverick wouldnt make it through his first 4 years.
Globalists and assassins
A lot of crazy people say that.
Respect for law and respect for individuals seems to go hand in hand to me. Every Republican I have ever met respected individual people for their strengths and weaknesses.
Even the old style democrats had that attitude.
The modern democrats have zero respect for individuals who aren’t of the ruling elite. Even people of their own party who are lower in the pecking order are treated as semi-useful tools until they are no longer useful.
We both know dems have zero respect for law unless it serves their purpose.
I hadn’t thought about it but the modern democrat party being the socialist party it is MUST suppress the individual to make the party/state all being. Wow, light bulb moment!
Unlimited Access, hadn’t heard of it. I’ll have to read it.
It is a great read (one the media roundly criticized and blackballed his book for exposing what it did back in the mid-late Nineties) and when you read it, every single thing related to security including Hillary Clinton's server issues today and everything in between is readily explained and understood...you clearly see their attitude towards security, rules, and authority...and in this context, the respect for people...or lack of it.
Unlimited Access: An FBI Agent Inside the Clinton White House by Gary Aldrich
Thanks for the link. I’ll probably buy it in January for February reading.
I think I’ll get Crisis of Character at the same time.
“Ive heard that the peanut farmer treated the Secret Service like crap.”
Yep — he tried to put forward a common man persona, but was a nasty piece of work, as was his wife. She has never gotten over Reagan defeating her Jimmah. I read that he made a big deal out of carrying his own suitcase, but in actuality, it was empty. The SS were carrying his real luggage. Typical Commie-RAT.
+1
