President Trump does not abide ineptitude.....and they clearly messed with his earphones.....purposely?.....so he couldn’t hear/ interpret what was said.

That’s exactly what it is. Most of these “World leaders” are not worth 2 s**t holes and their only concern is how much they can loot the U.S.

The administration seems to be pivoting to the donor class post-election. These people are never-Trumpers so POTUS is surrounded by evil lizard people from hell. Does anyone think the way the G20 went could possibly go down well with the POTUS?

Recently, Trump has had trouble understanding some reporters.
I believe he has some age-related hearing loss, especially of tones at the higher and lower ends of the audible spectrum.
I call it “hard of understanding.” Not sure even a hearing aid helps this.

I suggest you watch his recent pressers. He will listen intently, then shake his head and say:”I cannot understand what you’re saying.” I saw one where he listened, asked for a repetition, then frowned and said:”I can’t understand you. Your voice....” and he pointed to another reporter.
I’ve seen this repeated several times in the past few months.
I have some age-related hearing loss and today spoke with someone 20 years younger who had no idea she had lost some frequencies until she took a switchboard job. She miffed so many calls, she was referred for a hearing test and discovered she had lost low tones.
It happens and it is common. The woman I spoke with was an outlier, in that her loss happened in her 40s. I’m almost 76 and I’ve noticed it for about 10 years. My husband is almost 68 and has just recently had to ask people to repeat things. Otherwise, his hearing is sharp, as is the general hearing of the woman I mentioned. In my case, I hear ambient sounds, even from another floor or from outside the building, but if I’m concentrating, I can miss those.
It’s usually just mistaking words...vacuum cleaner is heard as bathroom cleaner, for example.
The phone can make it worse. High-pitched voices that speak rapidly are nearly impossible to understand completely.

Good point but my main thought on this is what it will do to their economy were we to vacate Germany.
If nothing else, ‘give’ it to a nation that at least ‘pretends’ to be friendly with us.
I will ‘always’ contend the only reason there is an EU today is Germany forced the issued when they were ‘given’ East Germany to have and hold.
Look for a similar problem if and when the Koreas are intermingled.
