More Our dog, Benji, died this afternoon. Because he was a rescue, we didn’t know his age today, except “very old.” He was a friend to an entire big family as only a dog can be. Goodbye old soul.

My condolences on your loss.
We use rescues to get dogs too.
Also have had 2 rescue horses.
The dog we have now is a rescue, a chocolate lab mix who is 2.
One of our dearest dogs was of unknown age but I knew he was at least 6 when we got him. He was wonderful.
