Vanity... Missed opportunity to review mooseshell's book

I am SO deeply saddened.

I wanted to write a glowing (as in radioactive crater) review of the lady's (?) best selling book ..Becoming (Human). {I wanted to point out but they forgot to put the second word of the title on the picture that I saw.} I was willing to give it 1 out of 5 stars to recognize the fact that for the first 80% of her life she was apparently not proud to be an American. However, before I could write even the first letter of my review I was confronted with this notice:

Sorry, we are unable to accept reviews for this product. This product has limitations on submitting reviews. There can be a number of reasons for this, including unusual reviewing activity.

Do you suppose my Amazon ID is cross-referenced with my membership on freerepublic, and I am therefore discriminated against writing reviews on libtard books??? Has anyone else experienced review suppression lately on this book?

TOPICS: Books/Literature; Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS:
The review just prior to my attempt was 1 star. The commenter said she was given the book as a present from her sister but she herself would not have paid even $1 for it!

“This product has limitations on submitting reviews. There can be a number of reasons for this, including...”

...that Mooch is in a strictly protected class, and truthful comments about her that are not flattering will not be tolerated!

There was a time when you could submit reviews to Amazon that were not complimentary to the product. Those days are gone.

I recently ordered a Dorcy LED lantern from Amazon. They sent me a Craftsman that had obviously been opened before. I responded with a very uncomplimentary review. Amazon sent me an email from a ‘no respond’ email address saying, in effect, we don’t like your bad review of our product so we’re not going to publish it.

I wound up ordering the Dorcy Lantern directly from Dorcy. Cost, including shipping, was $5 more than Amazon. From here on out, I am limiting what I order from Amazon. What ever you want is available elsewhere.

I’m there, too. I’ve found that a lot of people simply go to Amazon without comparison shopping. Big mistake!

Ok, 2 words I don't understand in your title:

"Missed"

and

"opportunity"

Amazon wouldn’t let me in. So I bothered the FR universe with my ‘glowing’ review. Hahaha

I believe Amazon has a rule that you have to be a paying customer before you can leave a review. I want to say it has to be $50 or more for your profile. This was done to prevent people from dumping on products while buying nothing.

If your profile has purchased more than that, you might try to leave a review in a day or two.

We ordered a book listed as new and it was so battered it was ridiculous. Amazon is not reliable anymore.
