Regarding the prison phone fiasco:

Getting those phones distributed in the prison had to be sanctioned... sanctioned from on high. Wasn’t it reported that local attempts at jamming the cell signals were thwarted by the federales? Is that correct? Why in the hell aren’t those simply confiscated? No jamming; no removal. Seems downright curious doesn’t it? Allowed to happen...even encouraged I’ll bet.

So what we know now is that these prison phones were part of a sexual shakedown gig targeting our military personnel. Of course. Why not?

Barko and the Cabal busted their bums to make defending our country a major PITA and riskier than need be. Underfunding, worn gear and infrastructure, super reduced training time, women in combat and aboard subs, effed-up ROEs, suspect steel quality “...freaks and hairies, d_kes and fairies...tell me where is sanity?” I could go on. Yep, all this stuff to drive the solid ones out and the solid ones to think twice before signing up.

What we have here with this cell phone crap is just one more diabolical tool used to degrade readiness and suppress morale.

Sounds to me like they were stifled from jamming the cell signals while the feds were conducting their investigation. That’s the trouble with counterintelligence, you have to let a lot of things slide while you’re building your case.
