Chris has had a brief transient moment of lucidity. It’s his first of the 21st century.
The sheriff was a big white guy and said " These people aren't hurting anyone so just leave them alone."
So I said " I really don't care about that but they are obstructing traffic on top of working illegally."
He says " There is nothing we can do."
I said " So if these were 20 or 30 white high school kids doing this, there is nothing you can do?"
He just looked at me with a stupid look.
That is when I realized our country could be lost and I told him that.
