Mexicans are rank hypocrites. They have been violating our sovereignty for decades like they have a God given right to do so. They feel that because they share a border with us that this somehow makes them Americans by proxy and as such they feel our laws don’t have to mean anything to them. Further more they feel they have first dibs on getting in here and more importantly they pull $28 billion dollars a year out of our economy and send it back in remittances. It is the one thing that is keeping Mexico’s economy afloat. If this flow of money were ever to be cut into it would be problematic for Mexico. If it were to be cut off altogether it would mean Mexico’s economy and Mexican society would collapse.
Actually many Mexicans believe a large chunk of this country should be theirs. They believe it was stolen by us and they have every right to live here and even take it back. Some claim they are even taught this in their schools.
They do not understand/accept that the land was won in battle, and purchased. They think because it once was theirs they still have some claim on it.
A very large portion of the illegals arriving over the past decade or two have come from countries other than Mexico—mostly countries to the south of Mexico.
“they feel they have first dibs on getting in here”
Yeah. The Mexicans expect to be at the front of the line of invaders. How dare the CAs butt in line?!
Also, too many Mexicans think California is their property and that is the big thing behind Reconquista...they intend to take California back and are doing it inch by inch, feel it is rightfully theirs, and they are doing it by re-populating the state, anchor babies, and draining the state via welfare. I have Mexican friends, and some relatives, and they deplore the “invasion” by what they consider lower forms of life. I worry how this will end up. There are
presently “border wars” as it is in Tijuana, and I fear blood will be shed.
... Further more they feel they have first dibs on getting in here and more importantly they pull $28 billion dollars a year out of our economy and send it back in remittances. ...
Why is it; when in some local community, a business owner wants to build a factory to build widgets, etc. The business owner, the local politicians' exposes the virtues that the jobs will bring 3 (three) times the amount of money into said local community, by way of trickle down economics, i.e., said factory worker will now be able to hire say a landscaper, the landscaper will buy new equipment, the equipment seller will now be able {Fill in the Blank,} etc.
So if the above paragraph is a true {business} model, if you will, why or why not should the $28 billion dollars a year out of our economy not count as $84 billion dollars a year out of our economy.
I know that I'm the dumbest person in the room, but to me the math doesn't add up.
O.K. now chew me a new one, i.e., tell me how I've been out in the sun too long without a hat on.
