Can this story be verified? Other than social media? I’ve never heard of this source. I’m not doubting its veracity, just would like to see it from somewhere else, also.
Often old videos are repackaged into fake news to fit the headlines of the day.

“Kasshoggi protest” over this torturing and blame it all on Trump.
I’m not surprised that the local tough guys are upset at the caravan. All that new concertina wire and all those soldiers can be helping the established drug and people smuggling businesses. Meanwhile the pace of construction of the border wall has accelerated which is really going to get in their way once it is completed. If I were a drug lord I wouldn’t want them around my smuggling operation or the media attention they are bringing.
This is likely Cártel de Tijuana. They don't "yell, cuss each other out, throw things and have fist fights". They will kill anyone who interferes with their traffic. They have no problem beheading politicians, police and federales. Right now, these "migrants" are causing unwanted attention that is interfering in their "commerce". Unless the migrant leaders have enough cash to compensate them for their interference, there is going to be a problem. You would expect the organizers of this caravan would have been smart enough to pay the appropriate fees.
Now he knows.
Actually many Mexicans believe a large chunk of this country should be theirs. They believe it was stolen by us and they have every right to live here and even take it back. Some claim they are even taught this in their schools.
They do not understand/accept that the land was won in battle, and purchased. They think because it once was theirs they still have some claim on it.
Not only that but the rumor is the women who tried to feed the caravan when the first bunch arrived had food thrown back in their faces and told it was not good enough. As the rumor goes those women do quite a lot of charity work and are mostly married to cartel men. So along with annoying the cartel bosses, interfering in their business, they also insulted their wives. Not a good way to begin an extended stay in Mexico.
I watched the movie “Bordertown” movie that was based on the true stories of missing Mexican women, and the American reporter and Mexican newspaper guy that investigated them.
Hard to believe it was true.
It even has a name - “Femicide”. 52,000 dead in 35 years, a third of them in the last six years.
Much of this ridiculous crap is funded by George Soros. He is wanted in several countries. It’s time Trump handed him over.
Mexicans are just doing the work Americans don’t want to do.
A very large portion of the illegals arriving over the past decade or two have come from countries other than Mexico—mostly countries to the south of Mexico.
There are 2,000 murders in TJ every year, maybe the epicenter of the narco wars....not a good place to visit, or especially to start trouble.

It’s not limited to Mexico.
In general, Latinos and Hispanics are very familial and territorial. County sized states do not get along with one another and feud between the criminals and feud between the govt officials.
Big news in Mexico last week was 4 policia cars and 2 motorcycles pursuing criminals into an adjacent jurisdiction, whnre the adjacent police force ambushed the cops. Left three cop cars burning and a motorcycle burning, with the occupants dragging one antoerh out and limping back to their own turf.
Same thing with the Central Americans. Hondurans aren’t really buddies with Guatamalans, nor other Central Americans.
In Mexico, they all recognize this common trait and know somebody is orchestrating the caravans, because they are not naturally forming.
BTW, many of the caravans arriving in Tijuana, are coming up the coast from Baja. meaning they somehow are getting across the Sea of Cortez. They might be getting shipped in by the cruise liners into Ensenada or further south.
Too bad our folks would be arrested for doling out justice to those who threatened them....
