Megyn Kelly’s ouster at the Today Show was great for the franchise’s viewership, according to Variety, with Nielsen reporting an impressive 10% bump in advertiser’s coveted 25-54 demographic during the third hour Kelly used to host. There’s been a 4% jump in viewership for Today as a whole. But will the boost endure?
Kelly was booted on October 26, just two days after defending the use of blackface on her program. The cancellation of Megyn Kelly Today topped off 12 months of tumult that’s plagued Today, beginning with Matt Lauer’s alleged sexual misconduct and ouster in October 2017. But it might be a new dawn for the show: it’s only trailing behind Good Morning America by 74,000 viewers, marking the closest it’s been in seven years.

hence riNO FOX was PERFECT for her. she blew it.

Man I HATED her as soon as she ran out during the debate like an NFL player running onto the field.
So tacky and unprofessional. and then attacked Trump.
He ended up defeating so many people, not just at the polls, but in politics and personal vendettas against him in general, that he is probably the cause of a lot of bottles of whiskey being sold over the past 2 years :)

Morning shows are want perky bimbos... and like her or hate her that’s not what she is.
I agree the network was foolish to pay her the salary they did, and the clock was ticking from the minute she took it as to how long she would be there.
Watching morning “news” shows, is like putting ketchup on eggs... just wrong.
Ambush journalism will only work for so long, go ask Jim Acosta.
Kelly had no roots, she depended on her looks, and followed the money.
