Royal Caribbean just built a new mega terminal in Miami to process passengers. The disembarkation of Symphony of the Seas this week was a hot mess. RCL has no control over that. Its all on immigration control and local authorities when passengers leave the ship.
Thanks for your delightful insight!
Just the same, I’d stay away from big ocean swells...
You are so wrong.
Do your homework.
I’ve never been on a cruise. I’ve always wanted to try one. My wife is trying to plan one for our wedding anniversary. I hate crowds, though. Your post is informative. I always assumed that cruises are customer service concentric and would be organized to appeal to some space and privacy.
Its just an ocean going human cattle car designed to strip you of your funds layer by layer.
But then some people in life live like that.
Its a symbiotic relationship like a certain fish that lives in the bum of a sea cucumber. They feel safe there, its shelter, they even get passing nutrients.
And more than often when there is a real critical situation the crew could care less about the passengers. I know of several where the captain, or crew, or both left the passengers to fend for themselves.
Ideal terrorist target. Then what...Cruising takes a big dive.
Not to mention the 6679 people all trying to get the 200 deck chairs around the pool.
Yeah, thats a possibility. Not probable, but possible.
I wonder what they do with all the human waste material ?
24 POOLS!
Why are you on this thread?
There are small cruise ships out there. My wife and I went on a Windjammer Barefoot Cruise for our honeymoon 21 years ago. That company went out of business after the owner died. However, there are other cruise companies that are now doing something similar. Check out Island Windjammer Cruises or something similar. These ships have less than 100 passengers. Theses ships are the closest thing to bare boating you will find without chartering your one boat.
Hey to me, most aircraft carriers look top heavy too !
Its incinerated.
It’s too big. I’d rather be on a smaller ship. Impressive, though.
More or less that I’d expect the captain to say...
Washee Washee!
