Axl Rose rips President Trump’s take on California wildfires
New York Daily News ^ | 11/11/18 | BRIAN NIEMIETZ

Rose, whose band played Sunday in the Philippines, fired back at Trump on Twitter.

“Um...actually...it’s a lack of federal funding that’s at the ‘root’ of the purported forest mismanagement. Only a demented n’ truly pathetic individual would twist that around n’ use a tragedy to once again misrepresent facts for attempted public/political gain at other’s expense,” the 56-year-old singer wrote.

This isn’t the first time Rose has taken issue with Trump. Days before last week’s midterm elections, Rose tweeted that he’d formally asked the President to refrain from using Guns N' Roses songs at political rallies.

“Just so ya know… GNR like a lot of artists opposed to the unauthorized use of their music at political events has formally requested r music not b used at Trump rallies or Trump associated events.”

It seems the request was not respected.

“Unfortunately the Trump campaign is using loopholes in the various venues’ blanket performance licenses which were not intended for such craven political purposes, without the songwriters’ consent,” Rose wrote in a followup tweet. ‘Can u say “sh—bags?!”’

Fellow metalheads Tommy Lee from Motley Crue and Sebastian Rock of the band Skid Row also shouted out their protests to No. 45’s reaction to the fires, which have killed 25 people, forced 300,000 Californians from their homes and singed 83,000 acres of land.

“Can you be any more insensitive you ----ing moron?” Lee tweeted.

Bach called the President the “most USELESS human being to ever walk the Planet Earth” on Twitter.

Unbelievable what they consider news these days. If it says “Orange Man Bad”, it leads.

Plenty of funds, it’s the enviroweenies who run California that is the problem. You MAKE money allowing cattle to graze out the underbrush. You MAKE money allowing loggers to thin the trees. But in CA none of that is allowed.

I don't know who this idiot is, but just HOW would more money, from the Fed Government have prevented the ragging fires that keep hitting California?

All the celebs are obviously being directed to speak in unison on whatever topic du jour and then promulgate it through their twitter accounts. Note they always use the same arguments and topics when doing so.

Same tactics antifa and other socialists use (as well as the ores) these aren’t independent thoughts - these are drones. Or NPCs if you prefer acting on orders.

Funny, I don't remember him calling out the demented ones that blamed President trump for the synagogue shootings. Of that's right, they were all crazy bat shit leftist politicians.

But forests have been horribly mismanaged thanks to leftists activists that do not know their arse from a hole in the In fact leftists have ruined everything they have touched throughout history.ground.

I never thought much of their music. I heard it a couple of times and vowed to never listen again. It’s crap.

Musical history wouldn’t lose an iota of substance if this band had never existed.

Slash plays guitar really well. Of course, lots of people play guitar really well, but he’s one of the ones.

I used to think the internet would be a great tool for education and enlightenment where you could go and find the truth about any matter. It turns out stoopid people don’t do that. Stoopid people, like axl, go on the internet and converse with other stoopid people and they end up reinforcing each other’s stoopidty. Before social media, stoopid people wouldn’t normally be so arrogant. Not so anymore. Quite dangerous, really.

All you Asshole Celebrities:

Kiss my ASS! You willingly ignore Federal Law but you want the Federal Government to bail you out!?

Why don’t you pool your aggregate Billions and fix your own fire problem.

We have about twelve stories an hour where somebody “rips” Trump. Pre-designed trash. The press knows what they will say so they call them.

He’s the lead singer of arguably one of the greatest rock bands to come out of the LA Strip during the 80s.

And my favorite band until about 3 1/2 minutes ago.

Now it goes back to Zep.

I don’t know what Plant thinks on things and he seems like he’s been smart enough to keep his mouth shut on most issues.

Page hasn’t probably been able to form a political belief since the mid 90s :)

Night Train.
Sweet Child O’ Mine
Welcome to the Jungle
Think About You
One in a Million
....

All songs I will never feel the same about again.

For my 50th my wife gave me a choice between a blowout weekend at the Golden Nugget in AC or 600 dollar tickets to see GnR.

I made the right choice i see.

The ex Beatles you can see in concert. Their songs for the most party and Definitely in the beginning weren’t about violent teen angst fueled by heroin.

So hearing “Please Please Me” sung by a 70 year old is ok.

Hearing “Mr. Brownstone”, about heroin, sung by a 54 year old fat rocker seems just silly.

Any angst in their bodies left a long time ago and sounds plain silly coming from a 54 year old man.
