What the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue shooting taught me (vanity)

Once again Liberals are shown to be blind to their own hypocrisy.
Although the following comments can be attributed to liberals of all stripes, in this case I specifically refer to Jews due to a) the Tree of Life massacre being against Jews specifically, b) my being Jewish and my constant amazement at the disconnect of those around me, c) my observances of the congregation, members and the Rabbi before and after the Pittsburgh massacre, and d) their ongoing attacks on everything conservative and Trump.
Fact: Most Jews are Liberals guided more by "social justice" and liberal policy than facts, and reality.
Fact: Just like Liberal (and liberal) interpretation of The Constitution, Jews similarly interpret The Torah so it fits their world view.
Fact: Most Jews (as well as other liberals) see those attempting to cross the southern border into the US illegally (or, undocumented, as they are more comfortable calling it) as refugees, asylum seekers, or dreamers. Any challenge to this is met by condemnation as being racist, xenophobic, and hateful.
Fact: Liberals believe gun control, not security measures is the answer to irrational attacks.
Fact: Jews, with a history of being targeted, react strongly and emotionally to attacks against Jewish groups such as the recent Pittsburgh synagogue attack.
Fact: In response to the aforementioned attack, many synagogues, somewhat reasonably -- if they already were not under constant lockdown -- once again became concerned with security, hiring on-site armed guards, locking doors, and even screening who is allowed access - particularly strangers or unfamiliar visitors.

Ironically, these current security measures (even including some members carrying their own personal protection - ironic in itself given their political bent) are the exact same measures they scream against when it comes to border security. Notice the parallels:
> The majority of those wishing to enter are seeking something better for their life.
> We welcome those who seek what we offer, but we must maintain our safety and security as well, so we have a process.
> There is the possibility, even likelihood, that there may be individuals among them that pose a threat.
> It is important to secure the perimeter so no one can enter and commit crimes against those within. We consider the method of security to be physical, professional (hired), and personal.
> To gain access, we must control the method of entry and know who the outsiders are so we continue to feel safe.

Let the twisting and rationalization begin.
Of course, the immediate response is that it's not the same at all. but when you're blind to your own hypocrisy, there is no amount of logic that can sway.

Let’s ask Lenin’s Yevsektsiya (Jewish Section). These were assimilated Jews who persecuted, tortured and murdered traditional Jews. By the time Germany invaded Russia, Stalin had almost all of the Yevsektsiya murdered too.

When the killing gets rolling, ALL Jews share the same fate. Plan accordingly.
