I wonder what percentage of our representative’s time is spent working towards some economic or regulatory goal versus just politically attacking the other side. Historically, I suspect at least fifty percent of the time was spent doing the business of the public. Now, I suspect that one hundred percent of the time is spent looking for political advantage and all economic or regulatory work is done by staffers and aimed not at improving something, but at undermining or destroying some objective of the opposition.
Imagine all the money the put in to trying get a “blue wave” - that alone would have fixed the economy
Wouldnt we classify some of them, as the deep state?
