She was released this morning. I am surprised by this. Me too. But, she has Cadillac medical care, and most likely, overnight, they swapped out the broken ribs for 3 new ones from among the thousands of her supporters. Yeah, that's what happened.

Simplest explanation is usually the correct one. She fractured some ribs during a fall. She was released from the hospital, but I’m sure she has a nurse close at hand to keep an eye on things.
Her health issues are numerous and well known.

You are right. One broken rib is bad enough. Even breathing is painful. How can an 85 year old woman be ambulatory after three broken ribs? That is hard to fathom.
