Singer Benton Blount claims he was kicked off a tour with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top after posting a photo of himself wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and an “I Voted” sticker on election day.
The photo, which also shows Blount holding food items from Chick-Fil-A was captioned, "Someone reading this just got offended multiple times. My work here is done! #Vote"
Blount, from Greenville, was a contestant on the TV show America’s Got Talent.

To be fair, as far as I know, ZZ Top has always avoided any sort of political commentary - even when interviewers tried to goad some political comment out of them. That may be what’s going on here.
It’s the Chick-fil-A that’s triggering....
Facebook put him in facebook jail for 24 hours.
His “sponsored” post violated their rules.
Plenty of libtards were telling people to vote and how to vote that day.

and from what I can tell, the opening acts tonight (Fri Nov 9 - Houston) were listed in early October as being “Matt Sorum, Austin Hanks, and Elwood Francis”
Still doesn’t justify facebook jail/suspension.

Smart people don’t piss off half their audience/customers.
This may be a simple business decision..................

Enjoy these last days of the Republic my friends. Every public facing entity and every social media platform is dominated and controlled by the Rats.
Look at the ubiquitous red county map. A sea of red, yet despite this the rats picked up well over 30 House seats. The Senate seats we gained are being cancelled by the theft of 3 Senate seats as we sit here. Our people get terrorized in thier homes etc yet no backlash. Instead the rats get rewarded with the House Nadler getting ready to impeach Kavenaugh. We are at the cliff and we can get pushed or fight.
An earlier FR post that he was told by ZZ Top that he was removed from the tour because he was banned by Facebook.
It’s possible that he had an active Facebook account with a lot of followers that provided business benefit to the tour, and that without that account (regardless of the reason for the banning) his value had diminished.
I’m not going jump to conclusions until and unless I hear more.
Those folks are Billy’s band...
Everyone has free speech, but you should always be prepared for consequences, he was on the Billy Gibbons Tour not the Benton Blount Tour and Gibbons has the right to hire and fire any act on his tour. I’m sure that one of Blount’s reasons for the posting was publicity............he got it, now he should quit being a cry baby and accept the consequences of his free speech.

If Billy Gibbons is OK with canning this guy, then he is no better than the scum on the left.
That makes sense.
Explain Facebook banning him for his “vote” post.
