I was in Egypt for a couple days in 1979; during that time I did not see a single veil or hijab. And there were only a few among the Palestinians in Israel.
Good. Honestly, the best form of government is a secular Arab Strongman. Look at Assad’s Syria where women are respected and Christians are protected. Same thing in Saddam’s Iraq. So we shouldn’t have taken out Saddam. But hindsight is 20/20.
