Yes and in aviation movies the pilots really would want to have their oxygen masks on their faces, not dangling to the side. Depends what altitude you are operating. 1980s masks sucked, 40s were probably worse. They inhibit your scan and FOV. I wouldn't have worn one below 15k if I had been a fighter pilot.
