As I stated, I respect the study of numerology. That said, I have more respect for biblical gematria, it's still classified as numerology however. Another thing, all languages have their version of gematria - not just Hebrew or Greek.

As to the number '9' I agree that the conclusion is ambiguous.

Number "9" is THE magic number. There are a bunch of opinions of what it means. That's numerology, susceptible to being subjective and not so much objective, and abuse by charlatans.

I see "9" in Rev. 13:18, derived from 6+6+6, as possibly a "coded" verification that our social security numbering system may actually fulfill the "Mark of the Beast" prophecy.

Do you realize what that would mean?

Junk. Gematria is based on God's perfection in all things. The Bible was not originally written in Japanese or Tagalog, it was written in Hebrew and Greek.

That criticism for SS goes back to the first proposals before WWII ... apparently just eventually forgotten.
