What a joke.

In a real college (i.e., one of a few decades ago) the idiots writing that article wouldn’t have qualified as janitors.

As easy as it is to see how ridiculous this cultural nonsense is, I don’t see its popularity subsiding on campus. If anything, they are doubling down. After school, the dykes and snowflakes lurking in the HR department at work will ensure the indoctrination persists through adulthood. If we don’t change the way young folks think then its just a matter of time until the fall.

Students at Texas A&M University (TAMU) got a costume sensitivity flowchart for Halloween this year.

“Wondering about your Halloween costume? Here are some things to keep in mind,” the TAMU GLBT Resource Center tweeted on October 25, along with a flowchart bearing the title, “Is My Costume Culturally Insensitive?”

UMass Amherst Creates ‘Flow Chart’ to Determine If Your Halloween Costume Is Offensive

The University of Massachusetts, Amherst has created a handy flow chart for students to help them determine what NOT to wear as a Halloween costume.

Devised by UMass Amherst’s official diversity office, the “‘Simple Costume Racism Evaluation and Assessment Meter’ (S.C.R.E.A.M.) … poses several costume-related questions, the answers to which take one to various points on a ‘threat meter’ that ranges from green (low) to red (severe),” Campus Reform reported on Tuesday.

Insanity. ALL costumes are culturally related.
SO WHAT.
SO IS OUR FOOD.
IF I EAT A TACO OR GENERAL TSO’S CHICKEN IS IT CULTURAL APPROPRIATION???

THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE.
THEIR INSANITY IS LIBERALISM.

PC criteria vary by the day and by the person. I don’t think a flow chart can capture it. You’d need an app for that, maybe a supercomputer.

So, this year I guess I get to selectively pass out Halloween candy based on my personal assessment of cultural appropriation. Any kid showing up in a Minions costume is automatically out of luck. Any black kid in a Spiderman costume - Same thing.

Why don't they just publish what they believe ...

If your white and you are wearing a costume ... its racist.

My mother dressed me up as a Cossack for Purim. I had no dear what that was at the time. Even though it was a cool costume, it seems a little weird looking back on it.

Sick to death of this PC crap. People make fun of you or stereotype you? Grow up, put on a thicker skin, and get over it.

“One poster brands the addition of a sombrero to a taco costume as “racist.”

What if it’s an Urban sombrero?

If you think about it, if this kind of stuff is all the left can do, then their entire argumentation is extremely thin.

In other words - they ain't got jack $#!+.

It’s nuts. You have “diversity” and “multiculturalism” on the one hand and “cultural appropriation” on the other.

I’m descended from Western Europeans, primarily from England, Ireland, and Scotland. My ancestors came over a long time ago.

Can’t I claim it’s “cultural appropriaton” when people come here from other countries and speak English?

Is it appropriation when my neighbors, the Chavez family, go to a Chinese buffet? Or a pizza place?

Is it appropriation when the Nguyen family lives in an Ameridan-style house and uses American furniture?

Is it appropriation when the Park family down the street (from Korea) celebrates the 4th of July?

For that matter, isn’t using fireworks appropriation, since they were invented by the Chinese?

Whatever happened to the concept of a “melting pot?”

The flowchart was created by Collegehumor, a comedy site, probably as a joke. The college fascists took it seriously.

So a beret or a kilt or an alpine hat are not off limits. Apparently not because they are associated with white cultures.Only cultures of people of color are off limits.
Why the inconsistency?
Seems to be telling us that the racists prescribing the rules feel that people of color should be treated differently than
the white culture.
