In 2000, Ben & Jerry’s is sold (out) to Unilever, the world’s third-largest consumer goods company.
Ben and Jerry have had nothing to do with running the company for 18 years.

Just before that they ran a contest to “prove” that anybody could be a CEO. Was a total failure and they had to hire a real one.

Ben and Jerry both had a hand in this “Resist” ice cream and Unilever seems to have allowed it. I heard B&J were in DC today to launch the new brand, so they certainly have influence with the company they’ve “had nothing to do with.”

Unilever is headquartered in London and is a British-Dutch company. There is more foreign election interference in this ice cream than in anything the Russians did.
