It was the fantasy trilogy that garnered critical acclaim, won 17 Oscars and launched the careers of stars including Orlando Bloom and Dominic Monaghan.
And Netflix UK & Ireland have announced the iconic The Lord of the Rings trilogy will come to the streaming service on November 1.

Meh. Anyone who cares already has the DVD set.
I tried watching the first movie... It was just... so... boring.
They are trying to get bought-out by some big studio.
The problem is that they should have done that before they decided to start going bankrupt.
Any word on them adding “The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis”?
Gilligan’s Island would be good...
“they are burning through cash faster than the Joker “
they are making tons of cash.
ROTFLMAO!
Wow, finally something that might be worth watching on Netflix!
Their content seriously went downhill a few years ago and I quit watching. Since I wasn’t transgender, liberal or black, there was no longer much meant for me to watch...
If they were making tons of cash, they wouldn’t need junk bonds...
Wall street has NFLX absurdly valued at 130 BILLION dollars in value...About the same valuation as McDonalds.
All they do is stream content either borrowed, stolen, or a few shows of their own. They replaced Hollywood Video and Blockbuster which are now bankrupt.
There is nothing proprietary that NFLX has that really cements them permanently into history. And, the left wing propaganda ministry that they aligned with during their rise to fame and fortune is no longer in power...
Until it’s re-released in 4K UHD I’m not interested.
DVD, Delux DVD, Delux Blu-Ray, and Delux Digital in my case...
I cancelled netflix and kept hulu - and they already have Lord of the Rings.
Yep. Got the Extended Version boxed set for Christmas probably 8 years ago.
Netflix introduces it new Streaming nap service at no extra charge....
Exactly.
Netflix had a negative cash flow of $1.5 billion YTD thru Sept 2018.
Just about all Netflix can/does put up is their original content and Bollywood/Paki CRAAAAP! They let themselves be out bid for content by their competitors and if they continue on this path they will go the way of Blockbuster.
