When one of my daughters was little, she used to constantly say she wished she was a boy.
Thank God that it was before the transgender movement.
I asked her about it later and she said it was cause boys did cool things and could not have to wear a shirt in the summer when it was hot.

But if nature has not convinced them of their biological reality, a judge will easily determine, as matter of law, who will be called mother and who will be called father. I watched the whole interview. The American College of Pediatrics has been an excellent, common sense group since my children were small.
You'd have to be crazy to think it was.
I have a sister who is transgender. if I try and say mental illness is what she has I risk alienating half my family. I blame the Demacrat party and especially Barrack Obama. The politicizing of a mental illness by him and the demacrat party to create a voting constituent that has led to a mental health disaster for those with gender dysphoria.

The root problem is that children are no longer taught from day 1: that it is not their biology that defines who they are, but their Creator. We are not bodies. We are SOULS with bodies. We bear the image of a Creator who loves us and calls us each by name.
That is the starting point. Not gender. But God. Not biology, but soul.
The moment the foundation gets tampered with, everything can fall apart.
You deal with it like you would ANY life-threatening illness.
With aggressive treatment and a lot of love, caring and support.
The best way to think of the illness of gender confusion is to think of it like Anorexia.
You don’t tell an Anorexic “you ARE right — you are way too fat.” And just telling them to eat more doesn’t work either. You need to get them professional treatment. If you don’t they will probably die.
The same can be said of those suffering from same-sex attraction disorder.
