I get that parents of other kids can be thoughtless and ill-mannered, but saying ZERO showed is highly suspicious.

It happens every rara now and then. Everyone one by one decides their absence won’t matter. Someone will also win the lotto tonight. No reason so far to doubt it that I can see.

It happened to my son. Thirty invites, hardly any RSVPs, two kids showed up. It’s very different nowadays. You have to invite the whole class and since a lot of moms work, you dont have phone numbers for them. Yes. It is heartbreaking. We stopped parties and just gave our kids bigger gifts with a special family dinner.

No more disappointments.
